In the Woodlands one community that stands above the rest is the Grogan’s Mill. It is a very old community which was founded in 1974. It is mainly referred as the original village in the woodlands and is home to over 12000 residents. Those eager to move in the village will find lots of recreational opportunities including golf courses, the panther Trail Course and hiking.

The Woodlands Luxury Homes – What You Need to Know

It stands to reason that price is the most significant factor when searching for an upscale home out of the Woodlands luxury homes. The cost of these luxury homes can easily cross over the million dollar mark, unlike the regular properties that the average person buys which are normally in the range of a few hundred thousand dollars. So if you are looking at buying one of these exceptional homes, you’d better have a very big wallet. After the price, the next big thing to look at is the location. Obviously the nicer the area, the higher the price will be. Most often, these houses are found secluded away, granting as much privacy to the occupants as possible.

Tax Credits for Energy Improvements

Although the $8,000 tax credit has expired for first time buyers, many folks are still eligible for another home-related tax credit that’s available through the end of the year. The American Recovery and Investment Act of 2009 provides homeowners with a tax credit for select energy upgrades on existing homes. Windows, doors, water heaters, insulation and other products are eligible. The tax credit is equal to 30 percent of cost of eligible product, up to $1500 for all improvements combined during 2009 and 2010. New Model Homes in Jagged Ridge, Creekside Park
